The first hills of the Jura mountains in Alsace will have you breathe mountain air, in stark contrast with the flat areas by the Rhine.

Here hikes, journey on horseback or with mountain bikes, even with microlight are possible to discover all sorts (caverns, belvederes, cliffs and escarpments,…) at an average of 240ft. Crossing the border between France and Switzerland is very common depending on the route chosen.
